Happy New Year! :-)

Hey hey kids! Happy New Year to everybody... hope you had an exciting night of celebrating last night, like I did with my sister, AJ, Nick, John, and John. lol We had a good ol' time, and I definitely owe Nick Green one. :-)

I am currently sitting in my quiet and clean dorm room, and I am super happy about it. I've been living out of a suitcase for about a month now in an apartment that isn't mine, and it's nice to be back where everything belongs. I'm sooo lucky that my girls let me "apartment sit" for them, because otherwise I would have been homeless for the last 6 weeks or so.

Well classes start the day after tomorrow, and I'm excited to get back into the quarter and all, but I can't afford books. If you'd like to help me out with that, let me know. You rock. I'm taking three english classes and two ed classes, so this could be a killer, but I'm ready to kick winter quarter's ass. My gpa is getting higher and higher, and soon enough it should be high enough for me to student teach in NC! :-)

I think I am one of two people in the entire building right now, and this is not to my liking. Good times do not ensue when I'm on the second floor and my boss is on the first floor and I'm hearing shit moving around upstairs. I'm getting better at this though... I'm not begging anyone to come sleep in my room with me. Of course, it's 1:30 in the afternoon. We'll see if things change by the time midnight rolls around. But for now, thumbs up. And... white noise.

I just got back from C-bus yesterday; we spent 2 days there at my aunt's house so we could all go shopping to cash in our gift certificates. I had a fairly bad shopping trip... just couldn't find what I was looking for. But when all else fails, cute brown boots and a couple new outfits works for me. :-P And who are we kidding; I spent $125 at victoria's secret, so I'm a happy girl. *admires new underwear* lol
